Sump Pumps

As technology evolves there are several types of sump pumps to choose from. Upgrade from a basic sump pump with a built-in alarm to a smart sump pump system connected via WIFI, providing direct notificationn to your device.  Your choice will depend on the size of your sump pump basin, the space you want to protect, lifestyle and budget.

Here is a basic overview of sump pump types:

  • A submersible sump pump is submerged underwater in the basin, is quiet and reliable and able to pump out debris along with water.
  • Pedestal sump pumps are great for homes with a smaller sump pump basin. They cost less, but can be louder and more likely to have problems with debris filtration.
  • Battery backup sump pumps operate on battery power, alone.
  • Smart WiFi sump pumps notify you of any emergency no matter where in the world you are, plus you are able to monitor the working condition of the sump pump.

Sewage pumps

Sewage pumps are critical components of plumbing systems in homes and buildings where the plumbing fixtures lie below the level of the municipal sewer line or septic system. These pumps are designed to grind and move wastewater from lower elevations to higher elevations or over long distances, ensuring efficient drainage and disposal of sewage.

Sewage pumps are mostly found to be of the submersible type other then in very high use industrial applications. Submersible pumps are installed inside the sewage basin or pit and are designed to operate while submerged in water. These can be found with a variety of control systems depending on application (examples: installed in parralel with a secondary pump to allow pump use to alternate and with or without high water alarms in event of total failure
